MinebeaMitsumi MMS101 is a 6-axis force/torque sensor capable of measuring forces along three axes and moments about three axes. It features a hybrid structure combining a MEMS chip with a metal structure to enable true 6-axis detection. The module integrates AFE ICs and provides digital output via an SPI interface. Correction coefficients for matrix operations—used to eliminate cross-axis interference—are stored in internal memory within the AFE ICs. These coefficients can be read immediately before measurement starts, eliminating the need for users to manage sensor control or correction parameters. In addition, an on-board LDO reduces noise. Thanks to its extremely small size and lightweight design, this product is ideal for integration into the fingertips of robotic hands.
