Designed using a high-voltage CMOS process, MinebeaMitsumi ICs provide comprehensive protection for rechargeable Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer batteries. They protect against overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent during charging and discharging, as well as short circuits. They integrate four voltage detectors, a short-circuit detection circuit, reference voltage sources, an oscillator, a counter circuit, and logic circuits to ensure reliable and efficient battery protection. MM3511 series are protection ICs designed using a high voltage CMOS process, providing overcharge, overdischarge and overcurrent protection for rechargeable Lithium-ion or Lithium-polymer batteries. They can detect a variety of fault conditions in single-cell rechargeable lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries, including overcharge, overdischarge, discharge overcurrent, short-circuit and charge overcurrent from the charger. Each IC integrates four voltage detectors, a short-circuit detection circuit, reference voltage sources, an oscillator, a counter circuit and logical circuits.
