HTC Korea LM2574 series are monolithic integrated circuits designed for step-down DC-DC conversion. They can deliver up to 0.5A of output current without the need for an external transistor, helping to reduce board space. An external shutdown feature, controlled by a logic-level signal, allows the device to enter standby mode for improved power efficiency. Internal compensation ensures stable feedback control with excellent line and load regulation, eliminating the need for external components. In terms of protection features, thermal shutdown protects the device from damage due to excessive temperature, while current limiting safeguards the output switch during overcurrent conditions. Other features include a guaranteed ±4% tolerance on the output voltage under specified input voltage and load conditions, as well as ±10% tolerance on the oscillator frequency. An external shutdown function is also provided, featuring a typical standby current of just 50 μA. The fixed output voltage versions are available in 3.3V, 5V, and 12V, while the adjustable version supports output voltages ranging from 1.23V to 37V.
