Product Detail

Token Electronics offers power resistors mounted in BOX-type enclosures, which can be pre-wired for easy installation both at factory and on industrial job sites. The BOX series design allows virtually unlimited combinations of power wirewound resistor units within the enclosure to meet specific customer requirements. The BOX series is capable of absorbing high energy at high voltage while maintaining a non-inductive characteristic (for the non-inductive version). Models rated up to 4800 watts are available, depending on the required resistance value. Terminal blocks, thermal switches, conduit knockouts, fusing, and fans are available as options. The BOX Series (available with grid, screened cover, or solid bottom plates) offers excellent protection and safety. This assembly-type enclosure can house the DR Series (round-wound power units) or the DQ Series (wave-shaped ribbon-wound power units). For large-scale applications, awelded frame construction is used to ensure a robust and durable design suitable for both indoor and outdoor resistor installations. Terminal blocks, thermal switches, conduit knockouts, fusing, and fans are available as options.
