MinebeaMitsumi's linear regulators (LDOs) features products that take advantage of the strengths of both CMOS and bipolar processes : they support output currents from 100 mA to 1.5 A and offer additional functions such as soft start, reverse current protection and auto discharge, as well as output current detection, temperature sensor output and other special functions are available. MinebeaMitsumi MV1936 is a 100mA LDO with connection error detection designed for antenna applications. It supplies power to external equipment used in car navigation systems (such as GPS, TV, and microphones) and can detect open or short circuits on the output load. For improved safety, the LDO output is automatically shut down in the event of a short circuit.
