MinebeaMitsumi's linear regulators (LDOs) features products that take advantage of the strengths of both CMOS and bipolar processes : they support output currents from 100 mA to 1.5 A and offer additional functions such as soft start, reverse current protection and auto discharge, as well as output current detection, temperature sensor output and other special functions are available. MinebeaMitsumi MM4007 is a high voltage 300mA LDO with connection detection. This IC can be directly connected to a car battery, supporting input voltage up to 36V. It supplies power to external equipment used in car navigation systems (such as cameras, radios, and TVs), and is capable of detecting open or short circuits in the output load.
