MinebeaMitsumi's discharge IC includes a function that rapidly discharges the output capacitance of the power supply IC. It consists of a transistor and an inverter, allowing it to control the power-down sequence in coordination with the enable signal of the power supply IC. MinebeaMitsumi MM3781 is designed to quickly discharge the electric charge stored in capacitors when the power supply is turned off. It can be used to simultaneously shut down multiple power supply of microcomputers, SoCs, and image sensors. Thanks to its built-in inverter and NMOS transistor, it helps reduce the number of parts, simplify peripheral wiring, and minimize leakage current. Its compact PLP-4C/SC-82 package contributes to saving PCB space.
