Designed using a high-voltage CMOS process, MinebeaMitsumi ICs provide comprehensive protection for rechargeable Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer batteries. They protect against overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent during charging and discharging, as well as short circuits. They integrate four voltage detectors, a short-circuit detection circuit, reference voltage sources, an oscillator, a counter circuit, and logic circuits to ensure reliable and efficient battery protection. The MM3734 series are voltage monitoring ICs designed for secondary protection of rechargeable lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries, manufactured using a high-voltage CMOS process. These ICs can detect the overcharge condition of a single-cell lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery. The internal circuitry includes voltage detectors, reference voltage sources, an oscillator, a counter circuit, and logic circuits.
MM3734 features :
- Range and accuracy of detection/release voltage
- Range of detection delay time
- Low current consumption
