MinebeaMitsumi MM3635 is a linear charge control device designed for single-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries. It supports charging from 0V battery voltage, making it suitable for low-capacity batteries such as coin cells. The BAT regulation voltage can be configured to accommodate different battery types. It eliminates the need for an external sensing resistor and reverse-current protection diode, reducing both component count and heat generation. Additionally, it includes a safety feature that disables charging at high or low battery temperatures to protect the battery.
