3 to 4 cells Li-ion/Li-polymer battery secondary protection IC

Designed using a high-voltage CMOS process, MinebeaMitsumi ICs provide comprehensive protection for rechargeable Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer batteries. They protect against overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent during charging and discharging, as well as short circuits. They integrate four voltage detectors, a short-circuit detection circuit, reference voltage sources, an oscillator, a counter circuit, and logic circuits to ensure reliable and efficient battery protection. The MM3625 series are secondary protection ICs designed using a high-voltage CMOS process, providing overcharge protection for rechargeable Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer batteries. These ICs offer high-accuracy overcharge detection for each cell in 3 or 4 cells battery packs. The MM3625 also includes a built-in voltage regulator, which can be disabled when an overdischarge condition is detected. Internally, the IC integrates a voltage detection circuit, a reference voltage source, a delay time control circuit, logic circuitry, and a regulator circuit.
