MinebeaMitsumi's charge control ICs are suitable for charging single-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries and ensure stable charging through highly accurate voltage and current regulation. High safety is achieved through multiple protection features, including battery temperature monitoring via an external thermistor and a built-in charging timer. Additionally, the wide range of supported charging voltages and currents enables flexible system design, allowing compatibility with various battery types. MinebeaMitsumi MM3458 is a linear charge control circuit for single-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries. It does not require external sense resistor or reverse-current protection diode, reducing the number of components and the amount of generated heat. Battery safety is ensured by limiting the charging current and battery voltage when the battery is at high and low temperatures. MM3458 IC is compliant to the new PSE law.
