Token Electronics DST tubular ceramic insulator features a fixed number of windings and is wrapped with a heavy alloy wire that serves as the resistive element. The winding pattern is adjusted according to the required resistance value, after which the component terminals are mounted. The metal parts are heavily plated to prevent oxidation at high operating temperatures and to protect against corrosion.
