TJ2242A

HTC Korea TJ2242A is a single-channel High-Side MOSFET power switch optimized for adjustable current-limited power distribution with integrated circuit protection. The TJ2242A  series support key USB requirements and can supply up to 2.25A, as required by USB downstream devices. The maximum continuous output current depends on the package type and ambient temperature conditions. The switch features a low on-resistance, ensuring compliance with USB voltage drop specifications. A fault flag output indicates error conditions to the local USB controller. The integrated soft-start function prevents transient voltage drops on the upstream port, which may occur when the switch is enabled in bus-powered applications. An undervoltage lockout (UVLO) function disables the output until a valid input voltage is present. The automatic discharge function rapidly pulls VOUT to ground when the TJ2242A is turned off. In addition, the TJ2242A includes thermal shutdown protection to prevent damage under high-current loads, as well as reverse current protection to block current flow from the VOUT pin to theVIN pin.
